Return to the gentle days of giant paddle steamers and sample a Southern life of luxury and hospitality at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and French Quarter. At Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter you step through a wrought-iron portal into an alluring world of delicious Cajun food, jazz music and dazzling parades. Intricate railings, cobblestone streets and courtyards of flowers capture the spirit and romance of the French Quarter. There is even a lushly landscaped mile-long walking path along the Sassagoula River if you fancy a leisurely stroll to unwind after a hectic day at one of the parks. French Quarter is the place to dine on Creole delicacies, plunge into Doubloon Lagoon with its fantastic waterslide or relish the Mardi Gras atmosphere. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is inspired by rural Louisiana and is nestled alongside the picturesque Sassagoula River. Here in the rural countryside, the pace of a life is a little slower. There is a 3.5-acre Ol' Man Island that is encircled by a bend of the Sassagoula River featuring an extensive pool complex with a water slide. The resort is full of dazzling detail, bayou excitement and ‘all that jazz’ can be had for a ‘song’.

This wonderful Disney resort captures all the romance and adventure of Old Key West with its palm trees, lighthouse and Victorian-era decor. Highlights include 4 heated swimming pools, each one with an adjacent playground and an on-site marina where you can hire all manner of vessels for splashing about in the water! Conch Flats Community Hall is a great place to unwind with friends old and new, relaxing in front of the large-screen TV perhaps, or shooting a game of pool. There’s also tennis for the enthusiast, volleyball, basketball and shuffleboard – so plenty of opportunity to keep active! Hospitality House is where you’ll find Olivia’s Cafe serving delicious Floridian seafood and American cuisine with a Caribbean twist. There’s also the excellent Good’s Food to Go for busy bees, where you can order hot dogs, burgers, salads and ice-cream to eat on the run!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is now open and is the ultimate in family fun. The hotel draws its inspiration from 2 classic Disney Animated films: The Lion King and The Little Mermaid and 2 Disney Pixar films: Finding Nemo and Cars. The Little Mermaid section of the resort offers guest room accommodation that is perfect for smaller groups. In the other 3 sections, larger family-suites sleep up to 6 with plenty of space to spare. All boast a fantastic range of amenities and themed decor that can’t fail to enchant. Outside, 4 separate courtyards pay homage to each of the films with larger-than-life characters smiling down on you, including King Triton, towering 35ft into the air! Other highlights include a main swimming pool with sun terraces and loungers plus 2 quieter swimming pools, perfect for simply lazing by. For eats, the themed food court serves a variety of tantalising dishes all day long.

Close to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, this attractive desert resort with its balconied haciendas, colourful plazas, fountains and palm-shaded courtyards exudes a real flavour of the American southwest and Mexico. Circling a picturesque 15-acre lake, distinctly styled accommodations are themed as either courtyard Casitas, wilderness countryside Ranchos or lakeside Cabanas, nestled along the shoreline and meandering jogging trails.
