The great outdoors in all its unspoilt glory is celebrated to perfection at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! Inspired by the Great American Northwest National Park Lodges from the turn of the 20th century, authentic decor and genuine artefacts pay tribute to ancient Native American cultures and the pioneering spirit of early American explorers. In the grounds, look out for a bubbling spring that flows into a creek, tumbles over a waterfall and empties into the resort’s swimming pool. There’s also an amazing geyser, fashioned after Yellowstone National Park’s Old Faithful, which shoots water 12 storeys high every hour! Kids will love the totem pole in the lobby, carved with all their favourite Disney characters as well as the swimming pool and Cub's Den Children's Club. Straight out of the Old West, the rowdy Whispering Canyon Cafe is perfect for a family-barbeque fare or head to Artist Point, a rustic yet elegant restaurant to feast on seafood.
