Keep the kids entertained at one of the crab houses where they can hammer their food with wooden mallets or let them make their own desserts at a one of the local ice cream parlours.

For the best swimming, the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables is a must with waterfalls, palm tree islands and coral rock caves.
