Ticket Prices

Discovery Cove® Orlando

Discovery Cove® is an all-inclusive experience. Guests of all ages are welcome at Discovery Cove, but you must be at least 6 years of age to swim with the dolphins.

All dolphin swim packages include the following:

• 30 minute dolphin interaction experience (included in SWIM Packages only)
• Continental breakfast (pastries, muffins, tea, coffee, fruit), sumptuous 3 course buffet lunch, plus all drinks and snacks (including beer for the over 21's) throughout the day
• Unlimited access to all areas at Discovery Cove throughout the day including the Tropical Reef, Stingray Lagoon, Wind-away River, Resort Pool, Explorer's Aviary and beaches
• Use of a snorkel, mask and wetsuit or wet vest

The only items you'll have to pay for, in addition to admission, are photos and any merchandise you may purchase.

Discovery Cove® is a reservation only experience, with admission limited to just 1000 people per day.

All tickets include 1 day admission to Discovery Cove plus unlimited admission for 14 days to Seaworld, Aquatica or Busch Gardens.

Sharks Underwater Grill®*

The Sharks Underwater Grill® offers you the opportunity to dine in an incredibly unique "underwater science grotto" environment unlike anywhere else! As guests enter they will pass by an observation window and be able to see the chef's preparing culinary delights. Once inside guests will be entranced by the incredible view of the Shark Encounter exhibit. The floor to ceiling aquarium wall stretches over 120 feet across the entire length of the restaurant. From every seat in the house you will have a spectacular view of this one of a kind exhibit. The exhibit features several species of sharks and reef dwelling fish.

An all-new water slide that will thrill you with speedy tubes and half-pipe funnels you'll be splashing and sliding frontward and backward and climbing the walls!

Dolphin Plunge®

This one-of a-kind attraction plunges riders down a 300ft of clear slide through a crystal-blue lagoon past playful black and white Commerson's dolphins, getting you closer than you ever thought.

Big Surf Shores & Cutback Cove

Catch a wave in the worlds largest and only side-by-side wave pools, encompassing 860,000 gallons of water, these enormous pools deliver very different experiences. Cutback Cove creates gently rolling surf, while Big Surf Shores produces crashing waves with 5ft swells.

Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay

This extraordinary 335-acre adventure park brings together an unrivalled combination of rides, animals, and shows. There is much to explore for adventurers young or old. Transportation to Busch Gardens on the shuttle express is included in every Busch Gardens ticket.

The Busch Gardens® Shuttle Express is a FREE bus service for anyone buying a Busch Gardens inclusive multi-park ticket. This bus picks you up from various locations in Orlando (including SeaWorld® and Kissimmee) and drops off at Busch Gardens.

The Kasbah**

The Kasbah can be found at the Timbuktu area in Busch Gardens. Domed facades with desert scenes, palm trees, colourful fabrics and tassels with multi-coloured lanterns hanging from the ceiling highlight the Kasbah's interior. The current menu of German and Italian influenced dishes has been updated to reflect The Kasbah's Arabian theme.

Zambia Smokehouse**

Freshwater Oasis - opening at Discovery Cove in Spring 2012

New for 2012 at Discovery Cove is Freshwater Oasis; featuring all-new swimming and wading adventures and face-to-face encounters with playful otters and curious marmosets. Designed with a rainforest canopy above and sparkling-clear springs below, Freshwater Oasis is a natural fit with Discovery Cove's tropical vibe.

The Grand Reef

Discovery Cove's new tropical reef. Immerse yourself in waters teeming with sea life... where thousands of exotic fish and rays await you. Everyone is invited to wade, swim or snorkel freely through this vibrant reef. You never know what you'll discover. Safely share the water with exotic eels, lionfish and sharks. Explore water-side trails and bridges to one of the reef's many islands.

Dolphin Lagoon

The dolphin swim experience is the centrepiece of your visit. You'll begin by receiving an introduction to these beautiful animals in a secluded cabana. Then, with one of the trainers, you'll head down to the Dolphin Lagoon in groups of no more than eight, into the shallow turquoise waters to start your dolphin swim experience. Here, you'll meet and play with a dolphin for 30 minutes, getting to know each other through hugs, kisses, rubdowns and, ultimately, a one-on-one swim together through the lagoon.

Explorer's Aviary

Just beyond a spectacular waterfall, you'll find a series of towering Free-Flight Aviaries. Here, you can soak in all of the sights and sounds as you encounter hundreds of tropical birds nose-to-beak while they feed right out of your hand.

Wind-away River

Discover what lies ahead along the deep blues and lush greens of this Tropical River. Here you'll find cascading waterfalls, a secluded lagoon, hidden grottos, and a pathway to the Free-Flight Aviary.

Laguna Grill®

Take full advantage of the all-inclusive package and dine at Laguna Grill. This is the place to come and enjoy a leisurely continental breakfast and a sumptuous buffet lunch, come in and eat light or dive right in!

Trainer for a Day

Discovery Cove is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind package for the ultimate animal lover who wants to spend more time with the dolphins. The Trainer for a Day package offers the guests all the great activities and benefits that a regular package includes along with the following activities:

• Enhanced deep-water dolphin interaction with only eight guests in an entire lagoon
• Private, individual photo session with two dolphins

Do I need to be an experienced swimmer?

No, life jackets are provided and you don't have to go out of your depth.

What's included in the package price?

A day at Discovery Cove® is an all inclusive, exclusive, reservations-only experience. Parking is COMPLIMENTARY, and all equipment is provided. All you will need to bring is a swimming costume. Depending on the package you choose, the Choice of Adventure Package gives you admission for 14 consecutive days of UNLIMITED admission to SeaWorld® Orlando or Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay. When booking, please state which park you would prefer to visit, or book the Discovery Cove Ultimate Adventure Package, which includes 14 consecutive days admission to both SeaWorld® Orlando, Aquatica^TM and Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay. Included in any of the packages you choose, throughout your day at Discovery Cove is a continental breakfast, (muffins, tea, coffee, pastries, orange juice and fruit) a sumptuous buffet lunch and snacks such as nachos, fresh fruit and smoothies throughout the day. Drinks are also available and include water, soda, beer and wine. The only items you will have to pay for, in addition to your admission, are photos and any merchandise you may purchase.

Can't I just turn up on the day and pay?

No. Because attendance is limited to just 1000 people per day, you need to book in advance.

Is it suitable for all ages?

Yes, though children must be at least 6 years old to swim with the dolphins.

How long does the Dolphin Swimming Experience last?

The dolphin experience consists of a 30-min introduction with the trainers and a 30-min group session with the dolphins. This will be followed by an optional 30-min debrief for any questions.
