Price Promise

We are so confident that we won’t be beaten on price, that if after booking your holiday with Travel City Direct, you find the same holiday cheaper elsewhere we will match that price. That way you get your dream holiday at a dream price with a name you can trust – something you can be sure of as we are part of the Virgin Holidays family, which offer the security and reassurance that comes with us being backed by the world’s most successful transatlantic holiday company. Plus, we are fully ABTA bonded and a member of the Civil Aviation Authority, so your holiday and your money are safe.

So, in the unlikely event that you do find your holiday cheaper elsewhere this is what you need to do:

  • Check all the details. Is the quote you have based on the same hotel, departure dates, duration, party size, transfers or car hire and including scheduled flights?
  • If it is, send all of the details to pricematch@travelcitydirect.com within 24 hours of booking telling us who you got the quote from, when it was for, what is included and how much cheaper it was
  • We will check through all the details, and if the quote matches your holiday booking we will refund the difference. That’s our Price Match Promise.

 

Full terms and conditions

If within 24 hours of booking your holiday with Travel City Direct, you can supply us with a printed quote from a single other ABTA Tour Operator holding an ATOL license, offering an identical package holiday which is available for the same dates at a lower price than you have paid with us, we will match the lower price, subject to the following conditions:

The holiday must be for the same number of people, to the same destination, accommodation, room type and board basis with the same transfer type. It must be for the same departure dates and duration, and feature scheduled flights in the same available booking class. If car hire is included in the package, the car size and any applicable insurance must be the same.

This guarantee applies to new bookings only, for departures up to 31/03/2011. It excludes blackout periods that apply from 08th October 2010 to 23 October 2010 and 12 February 2011 to 23rd February 2011.

Printed proof must take the form of an email or letter from the other ABTA Tour Operator or a screengrab from their website. Quotes must be obtained within 24 hours of booking your holiday and proof of the date at which it was given is to be provided. Emails should be sent to pricematch@travelcitydirect.com.

We will action all price match queries within one working day. Price match guarantee may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice. All holidays bookings are subject to Travel City Direct’s standard terms and conditions which can be found here.
